Each individual’s unique history shapes who they are and how they see the world.
HANNAH SEDGWICK, MS, LMFT
I developed my passion for helping others by attending therapy myself as a young adult. The help I received left me with a desire to help others, to let them know that they are not alone in the hard times that life can throw their way. I specialize in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of individuals, couples and families struggling with family conflict, parenting, child behavioral issues, trauma, marital distress and sports performance anxiety.
I received my undergraduate education through William Jewell College with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. My graduate education was obtained through Friends University with a Master of Science in Family Therapy under the instruction the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy’s president elect, Dr. Christohper Habben, Phd, LCMFT. During my graduate program I interned at the Child Abuse Prevention Association, or CAPA, in Independence, Missouri. At CAPA I worked with children, teens and adults in combinations of individual, couple and family therapy sessions.
